Love your scribbles
I'm doing my best to show up more regularly amidst study, work and other life happenings.
I giggled heartily the other day in conversation when I mentioned that if I eat sweet things I try to make them. This was mistaken for some kind of naked baking and the confusion was baffling and wonderful at once. Dear reader, if you like to bake naked please respond with how you avoid burns whilst you make it, naked.
I wonder, do you take good care of yourself? How? What makes you think you do or don't? Is it eating good food, partaking in naked baking, moving regularly, journaling, meditating, sweeping through your finances once per week, strolling in nature, showering, rolling out of bed? Sometimes when I pick up a dirty sock from the floor I really try to celebrate the shit out of that. How marvellous! I did a thing! For me! What good care!
This is your sweet reminder to celebrate the small ways you take care of you. You're doing wonderfully in at least one small way, I'm sure of it. (If you need to drop a sock and pick it up just to indulge in a moment to celebrate you then please go right ahead).
Here's a darling scribble I did that I kinda love.
It's okay to love your shitty scribbles.
I thought about getting a little serious for a moment but I'm enjoying the lightness and simplicity of this letter. I hope you enjoy it too.
Leaving it here for now. Thank you for reading.
